STATUS: IN DEVELOPMENT LAUNCH JAN 2027

The Internet,
decentralized.

PHEUN — the Peace and Harmony Earth United Network — is the world's permanent record: kept by everyone, owned by no one. Not a blockchain — what blockchain was trying to be.

A single quantum-secure ledger called the AnchorStream. Every citizen runs a full node. No servers. No accounts. No middlemen. Just you and the network.

§ The Vision

Built on three load-bearing columns.

We’re not iterating on Web 2. We’re replacing it. PHEUN derives every behavior from first principles — no runtime heuristics, no centralized control, no compromises.

01

Math

Deterministic routing across 10,000 Sacred Anchor Indexes. Two nodes with the same inputs always observe the same byte order. Consensus is a property of the design, not a protocol.

02

Encryption

Quantum-secure by construction. ML-DSA-65 signatures, ML-KEM-1024 key exchange, AES-256-GCM seals, BLAKE3 hashes. No classical fallback on any path that crosses the mesh. Ever.

03

Determinism

Immutable anchors. Append-only chains. Monotonic velocity. The network remembers everything, forever. Nothing can be edited, deleted, or rewritten — including by us.

§ The Atomic Unit

Every action is an anchor.

A post. A feature film. A podcast. Your website. A constitutional amendment. Everything you publish is the same 420-byte anchor — signed by your sovereign identity, indexed across a planet-scale mesh, and permanent the moment it’s born.

Your private conversations are the deliberate exception. DMs and calls are not anchors and never reach the ledger — an anchor is public and permanent by construction, so minting one per message would leave an undeletable public record of who spoke to whom, for ever. What you publish is permanent. What you say is not.

That sounds like an implementation detail. It is the reason everything else works. One format means one search that reaches every category on the mesh, one way to subscribe to any identity, document, hashtag or thread, one permanent link that outlives its author with no host or registrar, and a feed with no algorithm — because the metadata is the sort, and you write the filters.

And nobody can revise it later. Not a company, not a government — not us. There is no us: every citizen runs a full node, and those nodes are the entire infrastructure.

§ What’s Inside

Eight pillars of a new internet.

Each one is independently revolutionary. Together they replace the entire Web 2 stack — social, messaging, governance, search, identity, hosting — with a single unified protocol.

01 / IDENTITY

Guide ID

Your identity, for life.

A 16-character universal identifier derived from 9 personal inputs only you know. Your private keys regenerate from those inputs on any device — they never leave your machine, never touch a server, never get backed up to a cloud.

  • RAM-resident keys, post-quantum signed (ML-DSA-65)
  • No passwords. No email. No phone. No KYC.
  • Self-sovereign. Truly. Irrecoverable by design.
02 / NETWORK

You ARE the server.

One user. One node. Period.

Every citizen runs the same code — a full node on desktop, server, or phone. No lite clients. No tiered access. Share a slice of your disk and bandwidth, and the entire network becomes free, hosted by everyone, owned by no one.

  • Pure UDP peer-to-peer mesh (no central anything)
  • Relay & relayed roles to traverse any NAT
  • Auto-scaling resource sharing — no fees, no token, no ads
03 / DOCUMENTS

One Constitution. Every citizen.

Written line by line, by the people it governs.

PHEUN ships two governed documents — a Digital Constitution and a Digital Curriculum — amended one line at a time through automated democracy. Every node resolves them to the same document without asking anyone, so there is no name to race for and nothing to squat.

  • 75% approval threshold. No admins. No moderators.
  • Every line versioned, every vote counted on the mesh
  • A new institution is a deliberation, never a form submission
04 / STORAGE

420-byte anchors. 10 GB payloads.

Tiny on-chain. Massive off-chain. Always linked.

Each anchor is fixed-size and lives in the AnchorStream forever. Payloads up to 10 GB are encrypted, fragmented, and scattered across the mesh — addressed by the anchor. PHEUN Sites and PHEUN Links let you embed and share any anchor directly inside a DM or a feed.

  • AES-256-GCM-sealed payloads, BLAKE3-indexed
  • 2,000-char text default, plus rich media & PHEUN Sites
  • One protocol, infinite content types
05 / DISCOVERY

8 feeds. One global search.

Curate your reality.

Eight fully customizable feeds with fine-grained inclusion and exclusion rules — by Guide ID, sign, hashtag, category, type, zone, maturity, tag, and language. Plus a global search that fans out across the entire mesh in under 60 seconds.

  • No algorithm. Just your rules.
  • Search anything, anywhere, anyone — in seconds
  • Zero advertising. Zero engagement-baiting.
06 / SUBSCRIPTIONS

Follow what matters.

Five subscription types. Infinite reach.

Subscribe to a Guide ID, a Sign, a hashtag, a thread, or an entire stream. Every matching anchor flows straight to your node — past, present, and future — delivered peer-to-peer with no inbox in between.

  • Real-time across a planet-scale mesh
  • No central index. The protocol IS the discovery layer.
  • Mention, follow, watch — without surveillance
07 / SOCIAL

Decide before you consume.

A radically different approach to social media.

Every post arrives as an anchor card first — showing a 32-char preview, a 16-char title, the author, hashtag, category, type, language, age rating, geographic zone, and content tags. Then you choose whether to open the payload.

  • Informed consumption, not infinite scroll
  • Age & maturity rated by the citizen, not the platform
  • Built for intention, not addiction
08 / LENS

One anchor, four lenses.

Payload · Comments · Governance · Raw.

Open any anchor and switch between its lenses: read the payload, dive into the comment thread, inspect the governance votes & tally, or view the raw 420 bytes signed by the author. Every layer of truth, one click away.

  • Verifiable on-chain provenance — always
  • Universal across every category and content type
  • Transparency by default, privacy by design
§ Governed Documents

Democracy and education, written by the governed.

PHEUN ships two documents that belong to everyone and to no one. They are not pages on a server — they are streams of anchors on the mesh, amended one line at a time, ratified by the citizens they bind.

SIGN 0x01 Digital Democracy

The Digital Constitution

The only rule layer on the network. No admin can edit it, no company owns it, no government is asked permission. Citizens propose a line, the network votes, and at a 75 % supermajority that line becomes law — recorded as an anchor, permanent and public like every other.

  • Rules of conduct, agreed by the people bound by them
  • Any citizen may propose; every citizen may vote
  • Amendable forever — add, revise, or rescind a line
SIGN 0x02 Digital Education

The Digital Curriculum

Humanity’s shared syllabus, built the same way. What is worth teaching is decided by the people who will learn and teach it — not by a ministry, a publisher, or a platform. Every line carries its full revision history, so you can read not just what is taught but how the answer changed.

  • Knowledge as a commons, not a product
  • Every revision preserved — the argument is part of the record
  • Free to every citizen on Earth, forever, at no cost
  1. 01OpenTYPE 0x00

The document is opened once. After that it only ever grows.

  2. 02ProposeTYPE 0x60

A citizen proposes a new line, or a new version of an existing one.

  3. 03VoteTYPE 0x61 / 0x62

Ballots scatter across the mesh so a million votes cook no single node.

  4. 04RatifyFLAGS 0x01

At 75 % the verdict is sealed into an anchor. That version is now the line.

Why there are only two. A governed document only means anything if every citizen on Earth is reading, amending and voting on the same one. A free-form name could never promise that — two people who typed constitution and Constitution would open two documents, and whoever minted first would own the name. So a document is a single byte from a fixed list compiled into every node. Every node resolves it identically, without asking anyone. There is no race, nothing to squat, and adding a third is a deliberation rather than a form submission.

§ The Apps

One identity. Every app you use today.

Messaging, calls, publishing, governance, your own website, your whole history — all through a single Guide ID, all on your own node. No accounts to make, no host to pay, and the only number you have is one you can change whenever you like.

MESSAGING & CALLS

You decide who can reach you.

DMs, voice, and video — peer to peer, permission first.

Your Guide ID is your name, and it is public in everything you post. Your contact code is your number — and it is yours. Hand it to one person at a time and you are private by default. Publish it in an anchor or on your PHEUN Site and anyone can reach you. That is a choice you make, and unmake: change the code and everyone holding the old one is cut off, the way a new number works, except it costs nothing and your name never changes. Every message is sealed end-to-end, then wrapped in a 3-hop post-quantum onion — so even the last relay carries nothing but ciphertext.

The gate runs before your node negotiates anything, which is the part that matters: a call hands your address to whoever it connects with, so refusing after it rings would already be too late. A stranger who read your post gets your name, never your node.

Signal’s PQXDH is post-quantum in one place — the opening handshake — and the ratchet carrying your messages after it is classical. Apple’s PQ3 does rekey post-quantum as a conversation continues, but it is hybrid: classical cryptography alongside, on Apple’s own service, needing an Apple ID. Every PHEUN message, anchor and call setup crosses the network post-quantum with no classical component at all — on an open protocol that asks for no account.

  • ML-KEM-1024 + ML-DSA-65 + AES-256-GCM + BLAKE3 — end to end
  • Private by default — share your code person to person, or publish it and be openly reachable
  • Rotate it whenever you like: the people you keep get the new code on your next message to them, automatically
  • No phone number to register, and none to lose — a Guide ID is yours to replace, free, at any time
  • No PHEUN server exists to breach, subpoena, or switch off
  • Call setup needs no STUN provider — peers answer “what is my address?” for each other, so no Google or Twilio ever sees who is calling. With push off, a call is placed without a single packet leaving the mesh.
  • Store-and-forward when a peer is offline
  • Optional push for a closed tab — the one moment your browser’s push service (Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft) is involved at all. Payloads stay end-to-end encrypted, but Web Push fixes its own cryptography and it is classical; leave push off and nothing outside the mesh is contacted.

Said plainly — the three places classical cryptography remains. Live call media travels over WebRTC’s standard DTLS-SRTP, whose handshake is classical — browsers give an application no say in it. Recorded call media is therefore not protected against “harvest now, decrypt later”, while your messages, anchors and call signalling are; per-frame post-quantum encryption is a build item, not a limit of the design. The hop from your browser to your own node is ordinary HTTPS on a classical RSA certificate, because no browser trusts a post-quantum certificate yet — under one user, one node, that hop is usually a machine talking to itself, and only crosses a wire when you open your node from a second device on your own network. And if you enable push notifications, the Web Push standard fixes its own cryptography — P-256 and AES-128, both classical. Your browser’s push service still cannot read the payload, but it is not harvest-proof, and a message notification carries a short preview of the text. Push is off until you turn it on.

GOVERNANCE

Constitution & Curriculum.

Rules the citizens write — and can change.

The Digital Constitution and the Digital Curriculum run the same proposal / vote / consensus pipeline, amended one line at a time at a 75% threshold. A document is opened once and then only ever grows — propose a new line, or a new version of an existing one.

  • No admins, no moderators, no veto
  • Every vote is an anchor, tallied on the mesh
  • One shared document, identical on every node on Earth
PHEUN SITES

Your website, no host.

A site with no registrar and no server.

Publish a full mesh-native website — signed by your Guide ID and distributed across the mesh as a payload. No DNS, no hosting bill, no takedown. Pick a template and a theme, and share it as a PHEUN Link.

  • Static, immutable, cryptographically yours
  • Fourteen templates, ten themes out of the box
  • Rendered inline in any feed as a site card
AVATARS

Your face, in the anchor.

A signed avatar that travels with you.

Build a compact vector avatar that reconstructs from a tiny key carried inside every anchor you sign — so your identity appears on your posts, comments, and calls without loading a single image from a server.

  • Reconstructed on the fly, never fetched
  • Explicitly chosen — never inherited or faked
  • Sixteen real styles, fully customizable
PHEUN LINKS

Speakable. Forever.

One link to any anchor, Guide ID, or Sign.

A pheun:// link points at any anchor, identity, or document — server-free and resolvable forever from the mesh itself. Drop one in a DM, a feed, or a Sign and it just opens, with no host that can ever let it die.

  • No registrar, no shortener, no dead links
  • Embed any anchor inside any other
  • The address IS the content, cryptographically
GUIDE CHAIN

Every anchor, one lookup.

The chain IS the profile.

Search a Guide ID and walk their entire Personal Anchor Chain — every post, document, vote, and offer they’ve ever signed, in order, straight from the mesh. There is no profile page to curate; the history speaks for itself.

  • Complete, tamper-proof, append-only
  • Nothing hidden, nothing editable after the fact
  • Filter by category, type, sign, or hashtag
YOUR NODE

Your node, your rules.

Tune everything. Own everything.

Your node is fully customizable — set the storage budget, the bandwidth cap, whether you relay for others, and which feeds you keep. Update it from the app with one click; if a build misbehaves, it rolls back on its own.

  • Storage & bandwidth budgets you control
  • Client or relay-host — a role, not a tier
  • One-click redeploy with auto-rollback
ECONOMY

Barter, not banks.

Share resources, peer to peer.

Offer compute, bandwidth, storage, goods, or services as an economy anchor, and settle it directly with the other party over a DM or call. Pure peer-to-peer exchange, expressed as anchors — no fees, no token, no marketplace operator.

  • No cryptocurrency, no gas, no platform cut
  • The protocol is the medium; humans do the deal
  • Every category of value, one data model
VAULT

Keep it, and it survives.

The archive is every citizen who cared.

Save any anchor to a collection and its payload is copied to your disk in full — it opens with the network unplugged. And because your node serves what it holds, your copy is handed to anyone on Earth who asks for that anchor, for as long as you keep it. Every anchor already survives on a guaranteed floor of copies that the network heals automatically; vaulting is how you lift the things that matter far above it.

  • Yours offline — not a bookmark to someone else’s server
  • Five vaulters take a 10 GB film from ~38% to ~97% survival
  • Nothing is ever deleted to make room
